Friday Lunchtime Concerts
Southwell Minster's popular series of Friday lunchtime concerts (FLAC) is back for 2025. These concerts take place at 1.30pm on many Fridays, with performers coming from around the country to perform a wide variety of instrumental and vocal music in the spectacular setting of the Cathedral Nave.
Admission is free and the concerts last approximately 45 minutes. There is a retiring collection the proceeds of which go towards the Minster's Milo Chorister Fund with helps support the Cathedral Chorister Programme. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival.

- June 27 Song Recital given by Lizzy Humphries
- July 11 Piano Recital given by Joseph Murfin

- Aug 8 Folksongs for choir performed by the St Michael’s Singers
- Oct 3 David Machell Light Love Joy choral work
- Oct 17 Johann Strauss Bicentenary
- Oct 31 Brahms Quartet Songs
- Nov 14 Poetry and Song – Mary Robinson
- Nov 21 Song Recital performed by Emma Ward
- Nov 28 Dick Van Dyke Centenary – singers from Minster School
Immediately prior to each concert a cup of tea or coffee will be available to purchase from the South Transept.
