About the speaker
Dr Christine Rauer specialises in early medieval literature, working for the University of St Andrews. She recently participated in the All Saints event at Southwell Minster organised by Dr Henry Parkes of the University of Nottingham. During that event, she had the happy opportunity to revisit the famous St Michael tympanum in the Minster’s north transept, which she had first researched some 30 years ago, as part of a book publication on early medieval dragons.
