We’re delighted to welcome the youngest member of the Kanneh-Mason family to Southwell Minster to perform a cello recital. Mariatu’s recital falls on St Cecilia’s day. What better way to celebrate the patron saint of music than by listening to one of Nottinghamshire’s brightest musicians? Mariatu’s programme will include music by J.S. Bach, Paganini and Rachmaninov.
Admission to this concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is FREE. There is a retiring collection after the concert, proceeds of which go towards the Minster’s Milo Chorister Fund which helps support the Cathedral Chorister Programme. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival. The concert will be preceded by tea, coffee and biscuits – available from 1pm onwards.
