Our current Heritage Lottery Fund supported placement is Nottinghamshire artist, Tamsin Greaves, currently completing her MA in Museum Studies at Nottingham Trent University. She has been working with Newark school, Magnus C of E Academy, to introduce GCSE art students to the Chapter House in the Minster and this week they were given a sneak preview of the almost finished conservation works!
It was great seeing the students engage creatively with the Leaves of Southwell, the carved pews in the Quire and the moving installation of The Leaves of the Trees.
Looking forward to lots of school visits in 2021/22.
