Committee vacancies
We have some exciting opportunities to join the Finance Committee and Nominations Committee and will be looking for new non-executive members of Chapter in the near future.
The Cathedral is seeking to connect much more closely with the communities that it serves. In order to do so we are looking to recruit committee members from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments for those with disabilities.
The Cathedral is governed by the ‘Chapter’ (Trustees) which includes both executive and non-executive members. The Chapter is responsible for our strategic direction and ensuring the Cathedral thrives and adapts to the changing needs of society. The Finance Committee advises Chapter on all matters financial including investments. The Nominations Committee advises Chapter on the recruitment, appointment and training of Chapter members and sub-committees.
This is an exciting time of evolution for the governance of the cathedral as, along with the other cathedrals, we become a registered charity and implement a new Constitution and Statutes.
